Hypocrisy; Highest Point

Hypocrisy is usually defined as someone who pretends to be better than they are. Also it is defined as someone who says one thing and does the opposite. Hypocrisy happens every day, some are just blinded by what is really true. At some point in life, everyone has been a hypocrite and has been a victim of hypocrisy.

The most common thing I see hypocrisy exposed in, is when I go to church. I go to a church that has 1000 plus every week. Some people I see often at school or out on the weekends. I also have access to most of the young people’s face book who attend my church. There’s a difference in living a Christian life on Sunday, then the one you live during the week and weekends. Half of the young people lie about who they truly are, or are just scared to reveal to their weekend life that they are a Christian follower. I sit right behind the youth group at church. It’s really amazing to read one of their face books on the weekend and then on Sunday morning they post a bible verse. Not saying that it’s bad to post a bible verse, just stating how hypocritical these so called “Christians” are. Young people in high school, I think struggle with this church hypocrite statement the most. I think its part of being young and making sure you are the cool one everyone likes to hang out with, and then live your real life on Sunday but keep it on the low so no one finds out. This just goes to show adults need to engage on what their kids are doing rather than just letting them do what they want because they think they can trust them.

This is one of the many hypocrisy stories I have and still experience.
